B.Tech (Electronic Engineering) - Lateral Entry

B.Tech.(Electronic Engineering) is a four years unique course approved by AICTE, New Delhi that is designed to produces Qualified and skilled engineers capable of doing Innovative Design and Development of Electronic Products. Students are provided practical skills in the areas of Electronics Design & Technology and includes interdisciplinary field issues necessary for successful system development, design, implementation and ultimate disposal after decommission.

Objective

To groom Engineers to adopt to changing professional and societal needs through the project-oriented teaching approach. The course interdisciplinary field issues such as requirements engineering, industrial design, product engineering, ergonomics, aesthetics, System-level packaging, thermal design, reliability, EMI&EMC, testing & evaluation, maintainability, and Serviceability related to various aspects of Electronics Product Development.

One can pursue application research in this rapidly developing area. Eligibility

Three Year Diploma Passed candidates of Electronics & allied streams with minimum 45% marks (40 percent for SC/ST candidates) are eligible for Lateral Entry (Direct Second Year) in B.Tech.
