MHRD, under its NMEICT mission, has entrusted IIT Kharagpur to host, coordinate and set-up a pilot project of National Digital Library (NDL) towards building a national asset.

An initial version of the pilot is almost ready. IIT Kharagpur conducted a Video Conferencing session with all institutes and universities connected on NKN to create awareness about the forthcoming launch of National Digital Library (NDL).

NIELIT Kolkata participated in the event through Smart Virtual Classroom facility and approx 20 faculty members of NIELIT Kolkata attended the event.
