In a major step toward strengthening India’s self-reliance in semiconductor and AI technologies, NIELIT Calicut has signed a landmark Training Partner Agreement with Object Automation System Solutions Private Limited. This collaboration aims to create industry-ready talent through advanced training programs in OpenPOWER-based Chip Design, Generative AI (GenAI), and other emerging technologies.

The partnership, led by Dr. Jayaraj U Kidav (Executive Director, NIELIT Calicut) and Mr. Ganesan Narayanasamy (President & Board Director, OpenPOWER Foundation), will provide students with exposure to real GPU Clusters (A100/H100) and industry-standard SoC design flows. This initiative bridges the gap between academia and the high-end semiconductor domain, fostering innovation and research across the nationwide NIELIT network.
