The 2nd edition of SemiconIndia has placed India at the center of the conversation on future of technology in general and future of semiconductors in particular, by engaging global companies at the highest level of leadership and the academia.

It marks the formal launch pad of India’s Semiconductor journey which envisions making India a global hub for electronics and semiconductors.

The 3-day SemiconIndia2023 Conference attracted diverse participation ranging from industry, start-ups, academia and government. The insightful sessions and engaging talks showcased the importance of critical aspects pertaining to semiconductor manufacturing and steps being taken to ensure the development of a robust, resilient and sustainable semiconductor ecosystem.

On behalf of NIELIT Calicut Shri.Rajesh M, Scientist D & Shri.Sreejeesh SG, Senior Technical Officer participated in the conference. The Team Members visited a number of exhibition stalls at the event. The Team Members were particularly interested in the stalls of companies that were developing new technologies for the semiconductor industry. The Team Members also spoke to representatives of these companies about the opportunities for collaboration with NIELIT. The Team Members also discussed the challenges and opportunities facing the semiconductor industry in India. They also shared their views on how NIELIT can contribute to the development of the industry.
