NIELIT Delhi under the project FutureSkills PRIME organised a webinar on the topic “AI and 5G – The Ingredients Fueling Tomorrow’s Technology Innovation” on 28th July 2021. The webinar provided a platform to connect a diverse set of audience such as Students, Industry professionals and Government employees with the domain experts. The three-hour long webinar disseminated knowledge about the technological innovations and the revolution brought upon by disruptive technologies, namely, Fifth Generation of Networking Systems (5G) and Artificial Intelligence (AI).

Prominent members of Indian society such as Dr. Arnab Bhattacharya (Professor, IIT Kanpur), Mr. Narang N. Kishor (Mentor & Principal Design Architect, Narnix Technolabs), Shri Siddhartha Adhikari (Associate Director, Boston Consulting Group), Dr. Mahendra V. Chilukuri (Associate Professor, VIT Vellore), and Shri Amol Dhondse (Senior Technical Staff Member, IBM) were amongst the panel members for the webinar.

The opening session was presented by Shri Partha P. Adhikari, Joint Director(Systems), NIELIT, which set the tone for the webinar. Our esteemed panellists touched upon key areas such as enabling AI and 5G systems, Bio-digital convergence, Digital Transformation and Industry 4.0, privacy concerns with data collection and the responsible use of AI with 5G, leveraging the power of AI and 5G for development of smart cities and smart grids, followed by live QnA session from the participants. The webinar received overwhelming response from the attendees and was a success.
