Internship on Digital Embroidery, Sewing & Data Entry

The National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology (NIELIT) Dimapur has launched an Internship on Digital Embroidery, Sewing & Data Entry, a skill development initiative aimed at empowering women through creativity, technology, and practical training. The program focuses on equipping female participants with essential digital and hands-on skills needed to thrive in the modern textile and fashion industry.

The internship offers an integrated learning experience that blends technology with traditional craftsmanship. Participants receive practical exposure in Digital Designing using CAD/CAM software, enabling them to create innovative embroidery patterns with accuracy and creativity. Training sessions also include Operating Digital Embroidery Machines and learning Basic Sewing Techniques, helping participants gain valuable technical know-how for self-reliance and employment.

In addition, the program incorporates Data Entry Skills to enhance digital literacy and office-related proficiency, ensuring that trainees develop well-rounded competencies suited for today’s technology-driven job market.

Preference is given to applicants with prior interest or experience in handicrafts, tailoring, or related creative fields, promoting inclusivity and enthusiasm among participants.
