Project name: Capacity building and entrepreneurship development programme on e-waste management for 8 NE states

Implemented by: National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT)- Gangtok under the aegis of Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India

States covered: Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, Tripura  

Target Group for the Training : Government employees from 8 NE States including SPCBs and other Statekolders such as Customs Authority stationed in NE-states, manufacturer, producer, consumer, bulk consumer, the collection centres, dealers, e-retailer, refurbisher, dismantler and recycler who are directly involved in manufacture, sale, transfer, purchase, collection, storage and processing of e-waste or electrical and electronic equipments listed in Schedule-I of E-Waste Management Rules 2016.
