Sh. Sanjiv Mittal, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology, GOI, along with Dr. Ashwani Kumar Sharma, Director General, NIELIT  and Dr. A.H. Moon, Executive Director, NIELIT J&K met Jenab Naeem Akhtar, Hon’ble Minister of Education, Govt. of J&K. 

During the visit, Hon’ble Minister was apprised of the ongoing IT projects in  J&K State and the Minister expressed the need of including the use of IT in the Education sector in J&K state. Hon’ble Education Minister also reviewed the ongoing Smart Classrooms Project which is being implemented by NIElIT J&K in Govt. Schools.  The Minister also expressed his desire for creating more such facilities in remote areas of the State.
