In an attempt to create awareness among the students and rural villagers, one-day training program on ‘Digital Payment & Cyber Security’ was organized by NIELIT Kokrajhar EC, MeitY, Govt. of India on 31^st March, 2021 in its permanent campus at Titaguri.

Dr. Bipul Roy, Scientist ‘C’/ECIC welcome the participants and invited guests. Resource person for the program was Dr. Bipul Roy, Scientist ‘C’, Dr. Rana Sharma, Administrative Officer, Ms. Banti Das, Sc-C/ Deputy Director  and Ms. Udipta Kalita, IT Faculty of NIELIT Kokrajhar EC. In the day long program, domain like Digital Payment and its Security, Cyber Security, E-Governance in Cyber Security etc. were covered.

The programme was concluded by Sri Kamal Kumar Baglari, Sr. Technical Officer of NIELIT Guwahati with his Vote of thanks, after the question and answers session addressed by Dr. Rana Sharma, Administrative Officer.

Sideswar Muchahary, Village Head of Titaguri, Kokrajhar was the Chief Guest of the Program. In his inaugural speech, Muchahary said that the training program would open up opportunities for the students to understand the Cyber Security and help them to grow with updated knowledge and request NIELIT Kokrajhar EC to conduct such seminars / workshop in future for greater interest  of the society at large.

The programme was attended by more than 65 students from Bodoland University, CIT, KKHSOU, AIMT, DIET Kokrajhar apart from and local villagers of Kokrajhar district.
