An MoU was signed between Dr. Y. Jayanta Singh, Director, NIELIT Kolkata and West Bengal Electronics Industry Development Corporation (WBEIDC) represented by Shri Kaushik Halder, IAS, Additional Secretary to Govt of West Bengal for skilling 54,000 youths in the districts of WB over a period of 3 years on 04.04.2018. The Certificate courses (for 42 hrs or 1½ months) identified so far are (1) Android Apps Development, (2) IoT using Python (3)Office Automation and Practices (4) Assembly & Maintenance of PC (5) Desk Top Publishing, (6) Soft Skill (7) Multimedia (8) Financial Accounting and (8) Solar Technologies.
