Celebration of 11th International Day of Yoga

The 11th International Day of Yoga was celebrated on 21.06.2025, Saturday at NIELIT Kolkata with great enthusiasm and vigour under the guidance of Dr. Biplab Barman, Faculty of Department of Physical Education, Jadavpur University. The Yoga session started with systematic practice of different ‘ASANAS” of standing, sitting and laying positions (both lying on back and reverse) smoothly changing in succession under the instructions of Yoga teacher. During the course of “Yogabhyas”, the Yoga Teacher also narrated the usefulness of different “Asanas” as a precautionary measure, in curing many Diseases and the usefulness of Yoga in the overall wellbeing of a human being.

The entire “YOGABHYAS” lasted for one hour. The participants present got immensely inspired by the programme.
