NIELIT Kolkata and Jadavpur University have signed an MOU for conducting career oriented certificate courses under joint certification. The first such course titled “Skill Development Training on Electricity & Safety Practices” has been successfully conducted in 2016 through an initiative taken by the Electrical Engineering Dept. of Jadavpur University. On getting a remarkably positive response of this course, NIELIT Kolkata and JU have introduced another career oriented course named “Skill Development Training on Installation and Maintenance of Electrical and Electronics System” which was inaugurated in presence of DG-NIELIT and other dignitaries on 09.01.2017. Both these courses of six (6) months duration. Certificates were distributed to the successful students of “Skill Development Training on Electricity & Safety Practices” course.
