3-Day Technical & AI-Based Office Productivity Training Programme (for Group A & B Officers) conducted by NIELIT Kolkata for officers of the Board of Practical Training, Eastern Region
A 3-Day Technical & AI-Based Office Productivity Training Programme (for Group A & B Officers) was successfully conducted by NIELIT Kolkata for the officers of Board of Practical Training, Eastern Region from 09.02.2026 to 11.02.2026.
The programme was designed to enhance technical competencies and introduce AI-driven tools for improving office productivity, digital efficiency, data management, automation, and smart decision-making in government functioning. Over the three days, participants were exposed to practical sessions, hands-on exercises, and interactive discussions focusing on emerging technologies, AI-enabled office tools, cybersecurity awareness, and digital transformation practices in administrative environments.
The valedictory session was graced by the Director, BoPT (ER), the Director-in-Charge (DIC), NIELIT Kolkata, Dr. Kalyan Baital, Scientist-D & Training Coordinator, and Mrs. Rashmi Mandal Vijayvergiya, scientist-D.
In his address, Dr. Kalyan Baital emphasized the importance of AI and continuous technical upgradation in the present work environment and expressed hope that the learning from the programme would be effectively applied in official duties.
The Director, BoPT (ER), congratulated all the participants on successfully completing the programme and appreciated the quality of faculty members and the overall standard of training delivery. He expressed his satisfaction with the structured content and practical orientation of the sessions and indicated that similar capacity-building programmes may be organized in the future for the benefit of officers.
The DIC, NIELIT Kolkata, congratulated the participants and reiterated the importance of continuous technical upgradation of employees to meet evolving administrative and technological challenges. Mrs. Rashmi Mandal Vijayvergiya highlighted various other professional and advanced courses currently being conducted at NIELIT Kolkata that could further benefit the officers in enhancing their digital and technical skills.
The programme concluded on a positive note, with all dignitaries congratulating the participants and appreciating their active involvement throughout the three days.
