NIELIT Kurukshetra has established an extended Training Facility with 20 computers at Dayanand Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Kurukshetra, in a rent-free space provided by the college. The facility has been set up under a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between the two institutions. The Training Facility was inaugurated on 9th October 2025 in the presence of the Registrar, Kurukshetra University, and other dignitaries.
Under this collaboration, NIELIT Kurukshetra will offer internships to UG and PG students, conduct workshops on emerging technologies, deliver NSQF-aligned training programs, and jointly develop curriculum in line with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. The initiative aims to empower young women with practical skills in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Internet of Things (IoT), Data Science, Data Analytics, Cyber Security, and other emerging domains.
This partnership marks a significant step by NIELIT Kurukshetra towards advancing the vision of Digital India, Skill India, and Women Empowerment.
