In a significant move towards prisoner rehabilitation and skill development, the National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT), Patna, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Inspectorate of Prisons & Correctional Services, Home (Prison) Department, Government of Bihar on 23rd May 2025. The collaboration aims to impart IT training to prisoners across the state, enhancing their capabilities and equipping them with skill sets crucial for their livelihood upon release.
