In the FY 2015-2016, Tezpur Extension Centre of NIELIT Guwahati has enrolled 615 number of candidates in various Long Term and Short Term Courses in-house. The Cnetre under a special requirement from two Army Departments namely - Project VARTAK & Eastern Base Workshop (GREF) have trained 54 Army officials in Certificate Course in Office Automation, Certificate Course in PC Hardware and Networking, Certificate Course in Auto CAD. These Courses were conducted from 27th January, 2016 to 10^th March, 2016. The programmes were very successful and officials were satisfied with the overall delivery and facility of the Centre. There is a high possibility of continuation of training of the official of these departments in the coming years with inclusion of more number of Departments of Army.
