NIELIT Delhi Centre successfully concluded the training of the second batch of the “Essentials of AI Upskilling” course (NSQF Level-04, 210 Hours), conducted from 21st July 2025 to 10th October 2025 at its East Delhi Centre. The program, designed exclusively for defence personnel, trained 40 DGR candidates to enhance their employability and career prospects in the civilian sector by equipping them with in-demand skills in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science.

Throughout the course, participants gained hands-on experience in Python programming, machine learning concepts, AI applications, and data science techniques — essential competencies for thriving in the rapidly evolving digital economy. At the valedictory ceremony, participants demonstrated their project work, reflecting the hands-on expertise gained during the course.

Ms. Swapnali Naik, Scientist-‘D’ and Officer-in-Charge, East Delhi Office, and Dr. Shivlok Singh, Principal Technical Officer, addressed and congratulated the participants on the successful completion of the course. They encouraged the trainees to continue their learning journey and apply their newly gained expertise in real-world scenarios.
