Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) is the flagship scheme of the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) implemented by National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC). With an aim to empower country’s youth and continue the journey of Skill India Mission in building India as the skill capital of the world, the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) launched its flagship scheme PMKVY 4.0 under the umbrella scheme of the ‘Skill India Program's between FY 2022-2026. PMKVY 4.0 will encourage and promote an enabling ecosystem for the youths to get skilled and choose a career path aligned with their abilities and aspirations.

Eligibility Category:

• School dropouts and unemployed candidates of Indian nationality are eligible to apply.
• The age limit is 15–45 years, and candidates must meet the eligibility criteria of the selected job role/course.

Guidelines for Students (PMKVY 4.0 Courses)

• Training under PMKVY 4.0 is free of cost for eligible candidates.
• Registration is mandatory through the official registration link / Skill India Digital platform.
• Final admission is subject to verification of documents at respective NIELIT Centres.
• A candidate must have attained at least 50% attendance of the total training days (as marked on AEBAS for classroom & practical training.
• Additionally, the candidate must have completed at least 50% of total course hours as per QP duration.     
• Attendance will be captured through an Aadhaar-enabled biometric attendance system.

Admission Process

Candidates have to follow the admission process as below:

1. Eligibility Verification:
   1. To complete the admission process, the candidates will be required to appear in person at the selected NIELIT centre location(Inderlok, Janakpuri, Karkardooma), for verification of their eligibility documents.
   2. The applicants have to bring the following documents along with Original copies for the document verification:
      • Printout of online registration and fee payment receipt
      • Self-Attested copy of Aadhaar Card / Any other Govt. approved Photo Id-Card
      • Self-Attested copy of DOB Proof/X certificate
      • Self-Attested copy of eligibility qualification certificates and &mark sheets
      • Self-attested copy of Caste certificate in case of SC/ST candidate
2. Online Registration: Registration is mandatory through the official registration link / Skill India Digital platform. Centre will guide you the process of registration.

Final admission confirmation shall be reserved after checking of all eligibility documents and registration on Skill India Digital platform. Batch code, roll no. and time slots will be allotted to the successfully registered student.

Terms and Conditions:

1. Training of all courses would be conducted in classroom-teaching mode.
2. Candidates are advised to check the course details, Training location etc. for admission in the desired course from the website. Candidate has to ensure the eligibility for pursing the course.
3. Candidates are advised to select the Course with Training location (Inderlok, Janakpuri, Karkardooma), for pursuing the course.
4. All course related updates / announcements / information would be sent to the registered mobile no. / e-mail ID of the candidate provided in the registration form.
5. The candidates can pursue one NSQF course at a time under the scheme of PMKVY 4.0.
6. In case of non-submission of required documents within stipulated time, the admission can be cancelled and seat will be offered to the next candidate.
7. If any of the information provided by the registered candidate is found false/incorrect or discrepancy is found in the information furnished online with the original documents, can lead to cancellation of admission.
8. NIELIT Delhi Centre reserves the right to cancel/reschedule the course or to cancel the candidature of any candidate without assigning any reason thereof.
9. A candidate must have attained at least 50% attendance of the total training days (as marked on AEBAS for classroom & practical training, and as declared for OJT where applicable).
10. Additionally, the candidate must have completed at least 50% of total course hours as per QP duration.
