On 26th September 2025, the NIELIT Delhi Centre successfully organized an informative online workshop for the students of Shyam Lal College, University of Delhi. The session aimed to orient students about NIELIT, its role as a premier government institute, and the wide range of courses offered to enhance technical skills and employability.

Ms. Sheetal Chopra, Director In-Charge of NIELIT Delhi and Ms. Kanchan Rani, Additional Director (Training Head) provided key insights into the institute’s offerings and future opportunities. The orientation was conducted by Ms. Kanchan Rani who acquainted the students with detailed information about various certificate and add-on courses delivered by NIELIT in collaboration with Shyam Lal College.

The workshop covered:

• An introduction to NIELIT and its mission in the technology education ecosystem.
• Details of government-recognized foundation, intermediate, and advanced level courses.
• Overview of short-term add-on courses offered jointly with Shyam Lal College, targeting skill development in emerging domains such as AI & Machine Learning, Digital Marketing, Office Automation, and more.
• Guidelines for enrolment, course structure, certification process, and benefits for career advancement.

This initiative underlines the collaborative effort between NIELIT and Shyam Lal College to empower students with industry-relevant IT skills and improve their employability through practical and certified training programs.
