Welcome to National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT) Pilibhit

With a vision to promote innovation, digital empowerment, and capacity building in the areas of Information, Electronics & Communication Technologies (IECT), National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT) Pilibhit is emerging as an important centre for skill development and technical education in the region. The Centre is committed to empowering students, professionals, and youth with industry-relevant knowledge and practical skills to contribute effectively towards the technological and industrial growth of the country.

The Centre was inaugurated on 23rd December 2024 by the Hon’ble Minister of State, Ministry of Commerce & Industry and Electronics & Information Technology, Government of India. Situated amidst a lush green campus in the lap of nature, NIELIT Pilibhit provides a modern and learner-friendly environment equipped with contemporary infrastructure and laboratories to support advanced technical education and training.

NIELIT Pilibhit is actively engaged in conducting industry-oriented training programs, skill development initiatives, workshops, seminars, and certification courses in emerging areas of Electronics and Information Technology. The Centre aims to bridge the gap between academic learning and industrial requirements by providing practical exposure and hands-on training aligned with current technological advancements.

The Centre houses specialized laboratories including the Internet of Things (IoT) Lab and Industry 4.0 Lab, established to provide experiential learning in domains such as IoT applications, Robotics, Sensors & Actuators, Industrial Automation, Smart Technologies, Embedded Systems, and Digital Manufacturing concepts. These facilities are designed to nurture innovation, creativity, and technical competence among students and trainees.

NIELIT Pilibhit also focuses on promoting digital literacy and employment-oriented skill development programs for students, rural youth, and aspiring professionals. Through its various initiatives, the Centre strives to create a technologically empowered society and support the vision of Digital India and Skill India.

With a strong commitment towards quality education, practical learning, innovation, and community development, NIELIT Pilibhit continues to make dedicated efforts in building competent human resources for the rapidly evolving digital and industrial ecosystem.
