CCC Details
Introduction
CCC course is designed to aim at imparting a basic level IT Literacy programmer for the common man. This programmer has essentially been conceived with an idea of giving an opportunity to the common man to attain computer literacy thereby contributing to increased and speedy PC penetration in different walks of life. After completing the course the incumbent should be able to the use the computer for basic purposes of preparing his personnel/business letters, viewing information on internet (the web), receiving and sending mails, preparing his business presentations, preparing small databases etc. This helps the small business communities, housewives, etc. to maintain their small accounts using the computers and enjoy in the world of Information Technology. This course is, therefore, designed to be more practical oriented.
Eligibility
The candidates can appear in the DOEACC CCC Examination through following three modes and the eligibility criteria for each mode are indicated against each:
Candidates sponsored by DOEACC approved Institutes permitted to conduct CCC Course - irrespective of any educational qualifications;
Candidates sponsored by Government recognized Schools/Colleges having obtained an Unique Identity number from DOEACC for conducting CCC - irrespective of any educational qualifications; and
Direct Applicants (without essentially undergoing the Accredited Course or without being sponsored by a Govt. recognized School/College) - A minimum educational qualification of passing Matric/High School/SSLC or equivalent;
Duration
The total duration of the course is 80 hours, consisting of:
Theory 25 hours
Tutorials 5 hours
Practical’s 50 hours
The course could ideally be a two weeks intensive course.
Who can conduct the course?
Institutes conducting any of the O/A/B/C Level accredited courses may conduct the Course on Computer Concepts. No separate accreditation is required for such institutes. Besides, this, Government recognized Schools/Colleges are also eligible to field candidates to DOEACC's CCC Examinations. However, Institutions falling under the above categories are required to inform DOEACC Society in writing and obtain permission before the commencement of the course.
Examination:
Examination for the certificate course will be conducted by the DOEACC Society initially twice a year.
Examination Fee:
The duly filled in downloaded examination forms can be submitted with a Demand Draft of Rs.360/- (Rs. 340/- examination fee + Rs.20/- form processing charges) drawn in favor of DOEACC payable at the respective city of the Regional Centre where the form is to be deposited by the Institute / Candidate.
Fee Plan:
The Examination form costs Rs.20/-. The Examination Fee is Rs.340/-.
Provision of Late Fee:- Examination forms can be submitted with late fee @ Rs. 50/- per Examination Application Form. The last date of receipt of such forms is 10 days after the normal cutoff date for receipt of Examination Forms.
