Met Shri Sunil Porwal IAS (1983 batch), Additional Chief Secretary, Industries, Energy and Labour Department, Government of Maharashtra during his visit to Aurangabad on 29-Nov-2017 along with CMIA officials and submitted a joint proposal for funding support from Maharashtra for establishment of Centre of Excellence in IIoT at the premises of NIELIT Aurangabad in collaboration with CMIA. If approved this will be the first Centre of Excellence in IoT in Maharashtra and second in country after Bengaluru.
