About the Program:

FutureSkills PRIME is an industry-aligned skilling initiative sponsored by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India. The program is designed to build digital competencies in 10 emerging technologies and enhance the employability of IT professionals and government officials.

Objectives :

FutureSkills PRIME (Programme for Re-skilling/Up-skilling of IT Manpower for Employability) aims to create a comprehensive ecosystem for continuous skill enhancement and knowledge development in emerging and futuristic technologies. This initiative is designed to support the aspirations and aptitudes of government officials and IT professionals across India.

Key Objectives:​

  • Reskilling and Upskilling
    Enhance the digital competencies of IT professionals, government officials, and other stakeholders in line with current industry demands.
  • Focus on Emerging Technologies
    Build expertise in 10 key emerging technology domains such as AI, Big Data, Cybersecurity, Blockchain, Cloud Computing, IoT, AR/VR, and more.
  • Empower Government Workforce
    Enable government officials to adopt and implement cutting-edge technologies in governance, policymaking, and public service delivery.
  • Promote Industry-Relevant Training
    Align curriculum with industry standards to bridge the skill gap and improve employability.

    Foster a culture of continuous learning and development through modular, self-paced, and hybrid learning formats.
  • Strengthen National Skilling Infrastructure
