A one week Customized Training on Solar Power Plant System Design  was conducted at NIELIT Calicut, for the MTech students from National Institute of Technology (NIT), Calicut during 9^th – 13^th December 2019.

28 MTech students from various disciplines (Power Systems, High Voltage Engineering, Industrial Power & Automation) attended the course. Theory and lab sessions were handled by Shri. Mohan C, Scientist/Engineer ‘D’.

The course mainly dealt with Designing, Installation and Sizing of Solar power systems including case study on 10kW and 40kW solar power plant. The course was well received by the participants.
