Skill Development Training for ST Students

Organized by NIELIT Ranchi under the “IT for Masses” Programme of Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY), Govt. of India


ABOUT THE INITIATIVE

Under the “IT for Masses” initiative of the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY), the Government of India aims to empower underprivileged communities—particularly Scheduled Tribes (ST), Scheduled Castes (SC) by equipping them with industry-relevant skills in Information Electronics and Communication Technology (IECT).

To contribute to this vision, NIELIT Ranchi will conduct two high-end training courses to upskill ST youth in Jharkhand under the project “Self-employment Capacity building of the Engineering pass-out students belonging to Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe community”.

OBJECTIVE

To provide advanced, NSQF-aligned technical training to ST engineering graduates with the aim of improving their employability and promoting self-employment opportunities in the technology sector.

ELIGIBILITY

  • Must belong to the Scheduled Tribe (ST) category
  • Engineering graduates (preferably from Govt. Engineering Colleges)
  • Age limit: As per scheme norms

  1. Nominate eligible students using the Google form link.
  2. Collaborate with NIELIT Ranchi to organize awareness sessions
  3. Submit candidate lists for the Embedded Software Course and Cloud Computing Course
  4. Disseminate information among eligible students
