NIELIT Delhi Centre successfully completed a 600-hour training program in NIELIT CHMT ‘O’ Level (NSQF Level-4) and Cyber Security Basic Literacy Course (40 Hours) for Junior Commissioned Officers (JCOs) and Other Ranks (ORs) of the Directorate General Resettlement (DGR) from 13 January 2025 to 08 August 2025.

A total of 43 officials from the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force participated in the program, gaining in-depth knowledge of computer hardware and peripherals for installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance, along with system software management, data backup procedures, and communication skills. Both online examinations and practical sessions were completed successfully. Additionally, Training on latest technologies- Artificial Intelligence and Social and Mobile -GOT( Basic) was also conducted.

The participants expressed their utmost satisfaction with the training programme and highly appreciated the dedicated efforts of the faculty in making them aware of emerging trends in Cyber Security.  

The Valedictory Ceremony witnessed the gracious presence of Smt. Kanchan Rani, Additional Director(Training Head); Shri. Piyush Shrivastava, Scientist-D(Course Coordinator), who awarded certificates to all participants and felicitated them on their successful completion of the training.

The Directorate General Resettlement (DGR), functioning under the Department of Ex-Servicemen Welfare, Ministry of Defence, plays a pivotal role in assisting ex-servicemen in acquiring new skills and facilitating their resettlement through a second career.
