NIELIT Delhi, Karkardooma Centre, marked the successful culmination of the NIELIT O Level (NSQF Level-4) Training Programme designed for candidates of Defense services sponsored by Directorate General Resettlement (DGR). The course, conducted from 10th February 2025 to 15th August 2025, saw enthusiastic participation from 55 ex-servicemen from the Army, Navy, and Air Force, who undertook an intensive journey of IT learning and skill development.
The programme provided participants with structured exposure to critical areas such as IT Tools and Network Basics,  Web Designing & Publishing, Programming & Problem-Solving through Python, and IOT Applications. Alongside classroom learning, project work and online assessments ensured that candidates gained confidence in applying their knowledge to real-world situations.

In line with evolving industry requirements, participants were further upskilled through a 40-hour Certificate Course on Artificial Intelligence, which focused on the AI applications. This additional module broadened the scope of their learning, equipping them with insight into one of the most transformative technologies of the present time.
The Valedictory Ceremony, organized on 14th August 2025, witnessed the gracious presence of Sh. Subhanshu Tiwari, Executive Director, NIELIT Delhi, who,  presented certificates of completion. In his address, he acknowledged the commitment of the participants and underlined the importance of continuous learning in an ever-changing technological landscape.

The candidates expressed their gratitude for the opportunity provided under the aegis of DGR and highly appreciated the support and dedication of the faculty at NIELIT, Delhi. They remarked on the confidence the training instilled in them to embark on new career avenues post their service to the nation.
Through such initiatives, the Directorate General Resettlement (DGR) continues to empower ex-servicemen to re-skill and integrate smoothly into second careers, while NIELIT remains dedicated to building competencies aligned with national digital priorities.
