Placement Drive

A Placement drive was organised by Placement Cell of NIELIT Chandigarh Centre on 18th Dec,2013 at office premises. The drive was organised with Amarjit Consultants in which M/S Competent Synergies Pvt.Ltd.,a leading  BPO of Mohali was called to interview the candidates. The candidates who gave the interview were of varied streams of IT comprising of 6 months Certificate course in Computer Software and Hardware under SJSRY scheme, NIELIT’s NVEQF O Level Course, 6 months Diploma in Java and Multimedia under IT for Masses Scheme and 1 year Diploma in Computer Hardware and Networking course. Out of 33 candidates who gave the interview 16 were selected and given call letters for joining the BPO on the spot.

Campus Placement Drive is being conducted on premises of NIELIT,Chandigarh on 30th December, 2013. Thus giving opportunity to its students for placents during or after the course. Tata Business Support Services Ltd (TBSSL) is called to interview the candidates. Before conducting placement drive special Personality Development sessions were also conducted for its students. More than 100 students participated in these special classes. They were given exposure on how to face the interview board and prepare their resumes. In earlier Campus Placement Drive, M/s Competent Synergies Pvt.Ltd.,a leading BPO of Mohali was called to interview the candidates. 16 candidates were selected out of 33 candidates. Next placement drive is expected in mid January.

NIELIT, Chandigarh is currently conducting Industrial courses and long term carrier oriented courses in Electronics and IT for which admission is under process. The centre is also conducting Post Diploma in Electronics Product Design and Technology affiliated to Panjab Technical University. This is Industry oriented specialized course for Electronics Product Development.\
